Experience the glamour of opening night with cocktails & hors d'oeuvres served amid breathtaking gardens and magnificent antiques and be among the first to shop the show. $125.00 per person includes admission all three days. Reservations required.  

   

Friday, September 23rd - Designer Day   

   

All designers will receive free admission by presenting their business cards.

Learn more about the world of antiques by joining an intimate group for this private educational and entertaining behind-the scenes tour of the show. Free with paid show admission, reservations encouraged.

                                          "Booth Chats" - Exclusively for Designers  

Experience the world of antiques by joining an intimate group of designers for in-booth chats with some of our knowledgeable dealers. Reservations encouraged

Walk and learn with Charlotte as she strolls through the show providing her special perspective on some of our dealer's collections. $25 per person includes show admission all three days. Reservations required.  

   

11:30am - 1:00pm         Luncheon featuring Charlotte Moss     

                                          A Garden Scrapbook: Journeys & Inspirations  

Charlotte will sign copies of her newest book, Charlotte Moss Decorates, immediately following lecture. $75.00 per person includes show admission all three days. Reservations required.   

   

5:00 - 7:00pm              Wine & Cheese Tasting presented by Quail Distributing   

Sip a variety of fine wines and enjoy delicious cheeses while you wander through the beautiful Lauritzen Gardens and stop to learn from a few of this year's outstanding antique dealers during a mini booth chat. $30 per person or $50 for two people includes show admission all three days. Reservations required.

10:00 - 10:45am           "Shop the Show" with Suzanne Rheinstein - Limited availability         

                                  Walk and learn with Suzanne as she strolls through the show providing her unique perspective on some of this year's dealer's collections. $25 per person includes show admission all three days. Reservations required.  

   

11:00am - 12:30pm       Brunch Featuring Suzanne Rheinstein     

At Home: A Style for Today with Things from the Past  

Suzanne will sign copies of her book, At Home: A Style for Today with Things from the Past, immediately following lecture. $75.00 per person includes admission all three days. Reservations required.   

   

2:00pm                        Garden Walking Tours - Free with show admission   

A docent will lead visitors on an informational walking tour of the Lauritzen Gardens 100 acre property.  

   

1:00 - 2:00pm              Timepieces throughout History - Kimball's Korner  

Learn about the history of timepieces, their effect on pop culture and the art of collecting and passing timepieces on as heirlooms in this informative presentation by President & CEO of Borsheims Fine Jewelry & Gifts, Susan Jacques. Free with paid show admission. Reservations encouraged.  

   

2:30 - 3:30pm              Collecting for a New Generation - Kimball's Korner
Lori Thompson Fink will provide us with a fresh perspective on the ever changing world of antiques.  Lori is the daughter of Jayne Thompson, founder of Jayne Thompson Antiques. Lori is also an independent Lighting and Interior Designer. Free with paid show admission. Reservations encouraged.

10:00am - 4:00pm         Show Open to the Public   

   

10:00am -1 pm             "What's it Worth? Appraisal Clinic presented by Rebecca& Kirk Samuelson - Kimball's Korner  

Conducted by Jackson's International Auctioneers & Appraisers of Antiques & Fine Art   

Have one to three items appraised during a five-minute verbal appraisal. Large items can be examined by photograph. Reservations required. A Lauritzen Garden staff member will call to schedule your appointment. $15 per session (for up to 3 items) with paid show admission.  

   

11:00am - 2:00pm         Mimosa Sunday   

                                  Enjoy a complimentary champagne cocktail while shopping the show or attending an exciting educational offering.  

   

2:00pm                        Garden Walking Tours - free with show admission

1:15 - 3:00pm                  The World of Doll Houses - Kimball's Korner  

Prepare to be enchanted by the world of dollhouses and miniatures. Representatives from the Toy & Miniature Museum of Kansas City, considered to having the largest collection of miniatures in the Midwest will present a fascinating historical perspective of the dollhouse. Free with paid show admission. Reservations encouraged.
