Fall Chrysanthemum Show Preview 

4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 

Mum's the word at this special members only event. 

This year, Lauritzen Gardens members will have the unique opportunity to view thousands of stunning chrysanthemums during a delightful event highlighting the opening of the fall chrysanthemum show. All members will get one of the first looks at the variety of mums in the show and the spectacular Japanese influenced design. Visitors will also be able to watch as the antique tractors move into the garden for grand display during the weekend's fall festival, Autumn Ambience.

Live Japanese Koto music and luminaries will ignite the atmosphere of this members event. Hot turkey sandwiches and other food items will be available for purchase in the outdoor terrace café.
