Plant Sale Details
Visitors may spend the weekend choosing from a variety of plants grown and propagated in the Lauritzen Gardens greenhouses since as early as February. Many plants sold will be seen throughout the garden as beds are planted and re-planted during the upcoming seasons.
Local garden clubs, plant societies and environmental organizations will also be selling plants and sharing information about how to care for plants and help sustain our environment. Visitors may also learn how to become involved in these organizations.
Enjoy musical entertainment from Tuffy's Group, a trio performing light jazz stylings of the 40's through the 80's, on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Members have the exclusive opportunity to purchase plants on Friday, May 4 and Friday, May 18 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
In the spirit of "being green," visitors are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes to assist in carrying out merchandise.
