Corporate Membership Drive

Companies may participate in the membership drive to make garden memberships available to all employees. Corporate memberships offer exclusive savings that can only be received through employers.

As an incentive to corporate partners, Lauritzen Gardens is providing participating organizations reduced pricing on membership. By promoting garden memberships to employees (helpful tips and guidelines are provided below), the garden will provide a $10 savings on individual, dual, family, grandparent and patron levels of membership.

Active Solicitation Guidelines

  • An individual should be designated to act as a liaison between the company and Lauritzen Gardens. This person will be responsible for conducting solicitation procedures, collecting and submitting membership applications and payments (unless other arrangements have been determined), contacting Lauritzen Gardens' membership manager with updates, questions or concerns.

  • Payment options include personal checks from employees made payable to Lauritzen Gardens, credit cards, cash, payroll deduction or the company may choose to have their employees make payment to the company who, in turn, would remit a check to Lauritzen Gardens for the cumulative total.

  • The company may provide a matching gift program or offer to underwrite a portion of the membership cost for employees. These are wonderful ways to promote employee incentives and provide additional support to the garden. The garden's membership manager should be contacted if the company has a current program in place or would like more information.

  • Dates for the company's corporate drive must be determined. Employees should be informed about the drive and applicable dates. E-mails, memos, newsletters and payroll inserts are effective ways to communicate this information and generate interest. Informational materials on Lauritzen Gardens will be provided and should be distributed or displayed in high-traffic areas.

  • Representatives from Lauritzen Gardens are available to visit the company for an informational presentation on the garden and the memberships available or set up a display booth where garden memberships may be purchased, and employees may ask questions and get information on the garden.
