Spring Flower Show Members Reception

Lauritzen Gardens is featuring some of the savvy botanical misfits in the spring plant show, inspired by Amy Stewart's book "Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln's Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities."Come and witness the dizzying arsenal of defenses these plants have developed against insects, animals and even humans! Discover fascinating truths about the flora that may be lurking in your own backyard. Enjoy complimentary "poison" beverages that may render you speechless and indulge in food inspired by cryptic tales of unfortunate demise (available for purchase in the cafe).

Members Only Plant Sale  
Friday, May 4 AND Friday, May 18 
4:30 to 7 p.m.

Members have the exclusive opportunity to be the first to choose from thousands of plants grown and displayed at Lauritzen Gardens during its annual plant sale. Available for purchase are annuals, perennials, grasses, tropical plants, herbs and vegetables. Local garden clubs and plant societies also sell plants and plant-related merchandise. 

Throughout the plant sale, horticultural staff and garden club representatives will be available to answer questions related to planting, growing conditions and care.   

In the spirit of "being green," members are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes to assist in carrying out merchandise. 

Members Only Tempo of Twilight Concert
Tuesday, June 12 
6 to 8 p.m.

Performer to be announced. 

As an extension of the Tempo of Twilight concert series, this evening offers a unique opportunity for guests to bring chairs, food and beverages while enjoying the gorgeous atmosphere and wonderful entertainment. Dinner specials are available at $6 per person. 

Weather permitting, the concert will be outdoors. Because of rain or extreme heat, the concert may be moved indoors or cancelled.

Members Mum Show Preview

3 to 7 p.m. 

Members are the first to view the fall chrysanthemum show with its bold autumn colors and Japanese-inspired garden elements. Live music, a complimentary beverage and festive food available for purchase enhance the ambience of this fun-filled event.
