"Beauty of the Wild” featuring Darrel Morrison | June 21 | 7 p.m.
This detailed lecture will present the people and places that have influenced or inspired Darrel Morrison throughout his 50+ year career teaching and designing nature-based landscapes. These include Jens Jensen, Aldo Leopold, Steve and Rachel Kaplan, the one-time prairie landscapes of southwest Iowa, and the restored tallgrass prairies at the University of Wisconsin Arboretum; among others.
The cafe will be open for
dinner prior to the lecture from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and a complimentary dessert reception and book signing will
follow the lecture.
Cost of the lecture is $15, $10 for garden members. Reservations are required and space is limited.
