Three brand new Summer Adventure Camps are available this summer for children 4-12 years of age (campers will be divided by age 4-7 years and 8-12 years). Campers may choose to explore nature in a half-day (9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.) or full-day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) setting.

o         *Discounts are only available when a full week of camp is purchased (half-day or full day week). To receive a multiple camp discount, two or more weeks of camp must be purchased within a single transaction. ·         Dirty Jobs 

o        JULY 8-12 or JULY 29-AUGUST 2 

o        Lauritzen Gardens has partnered with the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium to offer a camp unlike any other. Have you ever wondered how dirty, grimy, and grubby you can get working in the garden or at the zoo?  Campers will see what it takes to keep the Lauritzen Gardens and the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium running as they visit both organizations. From worms to wild animals, and miniature trains to giant locomotives, dive into the amazing world of working with nature! 

§          On Day 1 and 2, campers must be dropped off and picked up at Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, on days 3-5, campers must be dropped off and picked up at Lauritzen Gardens.  

  

·         Incredible Edibles 

o        JULY 15-19 or AUGUST 5-9 

o        Campers will explore the world with their taste buds, find out how insects and animals help plants to grow, and much more! We'll make tasty snacks, pot plants to take home and explore how people eat plant parts across the globe. 

  

·         WILD About Nature 

o        JULY 22-26 

o        Has your child ever wondered how fireflies grow? Why leaves change? Whether fish sleep? Or just why? This hands-on camp offers a unique experience where campers will explore the mysteries of nature through fun and exciting activities.
