Lil' Sprouts: Garden Art
In Lil' Sprouts, adults and children (pre-K, ages 3-5) work together while learning about nature, shapes, colors, ABC's and 123's. Enjoy story time, hands-on activities, crafts, garden exploration and creative play as you discover the wonders of nature with your child or grandchild. This month's class focuses on the different gardens within Lauritzen Gardens. Lilí Sprouts will complete a few different art projects using various pieces of the garden. Pre-registration is required by February 26.

Saturday, March 20 at 10 a.m.
  
Family Workshop: Terra Cotta Pot Tower
Spend time as a family at Lauritzen Gardens. Each month families will complete a craft project together and explore a related garden with a guide. One craft will be provided per family (any combination of adults and children, as long as one adult is participating). Includes garden admission. In this month's family workshop, families will construct and decorate a unique and functional piece to enhance your home garden as a plant stand or bird bath- a terra cotta pot tower! Pre-registration is required by March 15. Picture is representative of the month's craft.

In Lil' Sprouts, adults and children (pre-K, ages 3-5) work together while learning about nature, shapes, colors, ABC's and 123's. This month's class focuses on the arboretum where we'll discover different types of leaves and talk about their purpose. Pre-registration is required by April 2.

Thursday, April 8 at 1 p.m.

Family Workshop: Stepping Stones
Spend time as a family at Lauritzen Gardens. Each month families will complete a craft project together and explore a related garden with a guide. One craft will be provided per family (any combination of adults and children, as long as one adult is participating). Includes garden admission. Come and create a mosaic stepping stone with your family! We will be working with cement and a variety of add-ins to make a one-of-a-kind stepping stone for your garden. Pre-registration is required by April 12. Picture is representative of the month's craft.

In Lil' Sprouts, adults and children (pre-K, ages 3-5) work together while learning about nature, shapes, colors, ABC's and 123's. This month, we'll go on a safari to find the various insects that build their homes throughout the garden. Pre-registration is required by April 30.

Family Workshop: Tic-Tac-Toe Boards
Spend time as a family at Lauritzen Gardens. Each month families will complete a craft project together and explore a related garden with a guide. One craft will be provided per family (any combination of adults and children, as long as one adult is participating). Includes garden admission. This month, nature tic-tac-toe boards are the name of the game. We will work together to create a game board and game pieces from scratch and your family can take it home to have heated tic-tac-toe matches for years to come. Pre-registration is required by May 10. Picture is representative of the month's craft.
