Evening Indoor Rental

The visitor and education center at Lauritzen Gardens is available for receptions, corporate banquets and other parties. Use of the facility affords you many set-up options and ensures a private indoor event. Within this breathtaking 32,000-square-foot building you will find subtle, rich materials such as red oak woodwork, Colorado red sandstone flooring and plenty of glass to let the outside in.

Our great hall accommodates up to 320 guests. Larger parties may expand into the café and floral display hall areas. Call for details.

Rental of the facility is from 6 p.m. to midnight. There is a $50 fee for every five minutes you are on the premises after closing time. Rental rates for 2023 and 2024 are as follows:  

Thursday evenings  

$5,000.00  

Friday evenings 

$8,000.00 

Saturday evenings 

$9,000.00  

Sunday evenings                $5,000.00
Additional Fee for On-site Wedding Ceremony          $1,500.00

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings are also available for rental (non-exclusive access to the building). Please inquire for date and space availability. 

The rental fee includes the following:
  
A private preparation room
Guest access to the outdoor gardens after 6 p.m.
35 sixty-inch-round tables
300 designer chairs for indoor use
Set-up and removal of your specified seating configurationl
On-site security
Parking for 350 cars in the main parking garden

 
Rental Deposit Policy
A damage deposit in the amount of $1,500 is due 30 days prior to your event to be accepted in cash, check or credit card. Payment will be deposited by Lauritzen Gardens and refunded based on the condition of the facility and grounds following your event. Any additional charges will also be deducted from this deposit. See the following list for additional fees and options. Damage includes but is not limited to: holes, dents and scratches on property, damage to plants or flowers and damage due to candle wax, broken glass, etcetera.

Proof of homeowners or rental insurance that covers liability is also required thirty days before the event.

Additional Options
For your convenience, we have added the following options to make your event memorable:  
 
Tuning of piano (optional) - $175           
The gift shop may stay open for your guests to shop at a rate of $35 for every hour open after 6 p.m. (must be arranged 30 days prior to your event)  
Private use of our tram- $200 per hour after 6 p.m. (one tram available, must be arranged 30 days prior to your event)
