Family Workshop: Bird Feeder Cans
As we hope for spring, let’s give a little love to our feathered friends. Make a bird feeder to hold seed treats allowing all to watch graceful birds enjoy them. Join in the theme for this year as we create new things from everyday objects. We will be reusing tin cans to create simple feeders with the addition of paint, glass, beads, string or ribbon. $25, $15 for garden members. Pre-registration is required by February 4.

Family Workshop: "Shamrock" Houseplant
"Shamrocks" (Oxalis sp.) are a simple houseplant with lots of green and small white flowers. Come decorate a pot for your new plant, decorations include; paint, beads, stamps and stickers. You will then transplant a "shamrock" into it for you to take home. $40, $30 for garden members. Pre-registration is required.

Take a stroll through the arboretum and learn how water is important to living things- animals, people, and plants. Following along with the story “Living Things Need Water” by Karen Aleo, your family can take part in some fun activities. Family Workshop: Upcycled Blue Jean Bag
You can upcycle a pair of blue jeans! Come and select a ready-made denim bag to decorate with fabric paint, stone and wooden beads. We will have glue guns, thread, needles and thimbles to help you customize your creations. $55, $45 for garden members. Pre-registration is required by April 8.

Family Workshop: Sea Turtle Clock
We love our oceans and what better way to remember to care for them then with a sea turtle clock. In this workshop, families will be painting and using stencils to create a sea turtle clock on a canvas board. We will provide the board, the paints and stencils as well as a kit with the clock motor and hands to attach. $55, $45 for garden members. Pre-registration is required by May 6.
