Lauritzen Gardens is a magical environment for preschool-aged children and adults to explore and learn in together. In Lil’ Sprouts, guests engage their senses while learning about nature, shapes, colors, ABC’s and 123’s. Enjoy story time, hands-on activities, crafts, garden exploration and creative play as you discover the wonders of nature. THIS MONTH - From far away, butterflies and moths may look the same, but they are actually very different! Learn how to attract these beneficial insects to the garden and the ways they help it thrive. Pre-registration is required. Each registration is good for one child (ages 3-5) and one accompanying adult. $18, $8 for members.

Join us to create a seed mosaic that can be used as a decorative centerpiece or wall hanging for Thanksgiving and other fall celebrations! Pre-registration is required. Classic holiday fun is here! This family workshop will provide you with all the decorations and icing to create your own gingerbread house. Make sweet memories together as you celebrate the season. In addition to our construction time, there will be guided walk through the garden's festive holiday show. One project set is provided per registration (up to 5 participants as long as one adult is in attendance). $40 per family, $30 for garden members.
