Summer Adventure Day Camps
provide a unique learning experience for children
5-12 years of age where they will learn science concepts and
interact with nature through hands-on activities, arts and crafts and more in
indoor and outdoor settings.
Camp formats include:
Half-day (9 a.m. to noon OR 1 to 4 p.m.)
Full-day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Full-day only (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Extended check-in and
checkout packages are available for purchase
Early drop-off is available from 8 to 9 a.m. and late pick up
from 4 to 5 p.m. Full-week, mornings only, afternoons only, or single days-
pick the package that is right for your schedule!
All-Inclusive Experience Available with many Summer Adventure Camps
Exciting full day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and half-day (9 a.m. to noon
or 1 to 4 p.m.) all-inclusive camps for children ages 5-12 years. 8 a.m. drop
off and 5 p.m. pick up times are available for an additional fee.

Buy two weeks of camp at regular price and receive the third week of camp for
note: Sales are not applicable to single day camps or camps done in conjunction

system may process the discount across the total transaction, i.e. 15% off the
second camp may process as 7.5% off of each camp, but the total discount will
be the same. Two or more weeks of the other camp offerings, in any combination,
must be purchased in the same transaction for a discount to apply. See the

Take a trip around the world,
exploring gardens from different countries. Campers will learn about gardening
in different cultures and will create crafts, participate in games and
activities specific to each country. This camp is for ages 5-12 years.

A BRUSH WITH NATURE | JUNE
17-21 or JULY 29-AUGUST 2
Campers use their senses and
imagination to explore and learn about art from the landscape to a microscope
level. Using natural materials found throughout the garden, campers will create
original pieces of art. This camp is for ages 5-12 years.

MAD SCIENTIST | JUNE 3-7 or
Experimenting is exciting in
this camp designed to develop the MAD SCIENTIST in each camper! Worms,
germination, climates, and wicked plants are just some of the garden-based
experiments we will perform. Available for ages 5-12 years.

NATURE ENGINEERS | JULY 8-12

There are beautiful and
functional designs and pattern in nature. Learn about camouflage, plant and
sculpture design, and how form and function relate in the natural world.
Campers will learn about both animal and plant engineers and will spend time
engineering their own creations at both Lauritzen Gardens and Omaha's Henry
Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. This camp is for ages 5-12 years.

ECO-RANGERS | JUNE 10-14 or
Campers will learn about
ecosystems, food chains, and how our environment is interdependent on each
piece. Participants will hike, nature journal, watch birds, and explore pond
life, learning and interacting with each habitat in Lauritzen Gardens and
Fontenelle Forest. This camp is for ages 5-12 years.
FULL WEEK, ALL DAY $235/$215 members of Lauritzen Gardens or Fontenelle Forest.
