We are working closely with the American Camp Association, The Association of Camp Nurses, the CDC, and the Douglas County Health Department to follow their guidelines and provide a safe, healthy, and fun summer camp experience for both your children and our staff.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP CAMPERS AND STAFF SAFE

<< Reduced Group Sizes

Each week of camp will be divided into four groups, of no more than 10 campers per group. These groups will be assigned their own camp teacher, and will rotate independently from the other groups at camp. Within these groups we will practice social distancing, and proper handwashing throughout the camp day.

<< Personal Protective Equipment

All campers wear masks while at camp. This is mandatory for the safety of campers and our staff.

<< Daily Temperature Checks

We will also be using a touchless thermometer to take temperatures of our staff, and all campers each morning at check-in. Anyone showing an elevated temperature will not be admitted to camp.

<< Asking All Participants to Follow Self-Quarantine Guidelines

We ask that participants reschedule camp if they have cold symptoms, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled out of Nebraska in the past 14 days prior to camp. If any of these apply to your household leading up to camp, we ask that you contact us immediately and cancel or move your registration to a later week.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

A refund equal to 50% of the purchase price may be given when the refund is requested a minimum of four weeks before the start of the camp, this includes any goods or services purchased in conjunction with the camp. If a refund is requested within four weeks of camp, no refund will be given. The refund of one or more camps may affect the sale prices charged in the previous transaction, and therefore may affect the refund. In the event that multiple camps have been purchased, and a refund is requested, amounts refunded will begin with the least expensive camp and progress higher in purchase price as needed according to purchases within the same transaction. When possible, Lauritzen Gardens can transfer a camp registration to another session. However, transfer requests are based on availability.
