Monday and Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the model railroad garden open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Wednesday through Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the
model railroad garden open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects®: Made with LEGO® Bricks will be on display through May 18.

Garden Closed on Thursday, May 15 Due to a major installation in Sofia's Play Garden, our gardens will be closed to the public on Thursday, May 15. Previously scheduled school and group tours are still taking place. Out and About Storytime with the Omaha Public Library will go on as scheduled, but participants will be limited to the festival garden patio and the floral display hall. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we finish building this exciting addition to the garden!

An Update on Tram Service The tram will run on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11. Service will be sporadic the week of May 12 and trams will begin daily operation on Saturday, May 17. Thank you for your patience as we complete construction on Sofia's Play Garden!

Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory Closure The Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory and the woodland trail will be closed from January 1 through early fall 2025 to complete the second phase of the conservatory's refresh. During this time 20+ outdoor gardens and the floral display hall will remain open for your enjoyment.

From a flock of flamingos to a big bison, these topiaries are lifelike interpretations of animals that use live plants to mimic the colors and textures of feathers, fur, scales, and skin. See what’s involved in the care of topiary plants and learn how our horticulturists maintain their artistic shape.

Omaha Rose Society's Rose Day and Show Join the Omaha Rose Society for their annual Rose Day and Show, to promote the culture and appreciation of the rose. Gardeners from throughout the region will exhibit a variety of superb rose blooms grown in their home gardens. Guests can also explore the rose garden to see more than 200 cultivars of garden roses and visit with rosarians to learn about roses and their care.

Leashes at Lauritzen On every Monday evening from May 5 through September 15, guests and their canine friends can explore the garden and enjoy the great outdoors together during Leashes at Lauritzen. From 5 to 8 p.m. each event night, the whole family, dogs included, are invited to walk on garden trails, take photos among the flowers and foliage, and meet other dogs and dog lovers.

Summer Camps Summer Adventure Camps at Lauritzen Gardens provide an exciting and educational environment for children to explore science, nature and art in a 100-acre classroom.
