The Great Gnome Escape
A Family Scavenger Hunt
June 1 through September 2
Once upon a time…
garden gnomes worked their
magic in the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory. Now the little fellas have
revolted, gone rogue, broken loose, and taken up residency throughout the
wooded arboretum. Together, they have a long list of misdeeds against the
garden and its guests, and the department of gnomeland security needs your help
to find them.
While you explore the trail,
see how many of our roaming gnomes you can find hidden throughout the arboretum
and receive a special reward from the department of gnomeland security.
Go BIG or Go Gnome!
Follow the StoryWalk® in the
arboretum and enjoy the adventures of Albert the Gnome and his bearded friends
in the book Go BIG or Go Gnome! by Kristen Mayer.
Hang out on the festival garden patio and play
an assortment of family-friendly games.
