Valentine's Day Dinner

Friday, February 14, 2020
Reservations from 6 to 9 p.m. (reservations open on January 2, 2020)

Experience one of the most beautiful Valentine's Day dinners in Omaha at Lauritzen Gardens, in the intimate surroundings of the visitor and education center. All guests receive the first course, their choice of one main course, the dessert course and one glass of wine (Chardonnay or Cabernet).

2020 menu options:

First Course
Winter salad of bibb lettuce and arugula with roasted beets, goat cheese, and toasted walnuts. Finished with a maple dijon balsamic vinaigrette.

Main Course #1
Chateaubriand with shiitake mushrooms and a pinot noir reduction 
Rosemary parsnip mashed potatoes
Braised carrots with thyme
Rolls with butter

Main Course #2
Roast tenderloin of beef with a champagne bearnaise 
Chicken Picatta with lemon caper butter
Rosemary parsnip mashed potatoes
Braised carrots with thyme
Rolls with butter

Main Course #3
Grilled fresh salmon with a citrus miso glaze        
Rosemary parsnip mashed potatoes
Braised carrots with thyme

Main Course #4 
Stuffed cornish game hen with dried fruit stuffing and a wild cherry demi-glace

Reservations are required and payment information will be noted at the time of the reservation. All changes or cancellations must be made by February 8, 2020. Charges for the event will be processed on the Tuesday before the event and no refunds will be given after that time.
