What's In Bloom?
The spring garden is coming to life with lenten rose, bleeding hearts, daffodils, grape hyacinth, magnolias, early tulips, Virginia bluebells, and other blooms dotting the landscape.

Fantastical Folklore
The world is full of stories about fantastic beings, imaginary creatures, and magical events. This enchanting exhibit, set in the garden’s plant kingdom, brings to life the legends and lore from around the globe and celebrates the links between the natural and mythical worlds. From dragons to mermaids and fairies to trolls, you’ll meet a menagerie of extraordinary creatures and discover the incredible tales behind them all. This indoor exhibit is included with paid garden admission and is free for garden members.

Girls' Day: Japanese Doll Exhibit
In honor of the Japanese celebration of Hinamatsuri, also called Doll’s Day or Girls’ Day, discover a vast set of ornamental Imperial dolls, or hina-ningyo, representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period (A.D. 794 - 1185) on display.

Sandhill Crane Migration Bus Tour
Unfortunately we will not host a crane trip in Spring 2021. To be placed on a list for future trips, contact Meganne at (402) 346-4002, ext. 263. Journey along the Platte River Valley and experience hundreds of thousands of beautiful Sandhill cranes in their majestic migration. This is a must-see tour where you will enjoy one of nature’s treasures, and is also a great chance for unique birding and photography opportunities.
