Know Before You Go
Plan Your Garden Visit!
Our extended hours end on September 16. As of September 17, hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, with Sofia's Play Garden open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the model railroad garden open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kenefick Park Closed until September 19
Big Boy 4023 is getting a fresh coat of paint, so Kenefick Park will be closed to public while the maintenance occurs. Make plans to visit after September 19, when the park will reopen!
Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory Reopening September 20
The Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory reopens September 20, featuring a NEW collection of rare and remarkable plant species from around the world. Get plant curious, step into a world of living wonder, and rediscover this beloved space.
Picnic Areas
We love picnics, but they must be enjoyed in designated areas. If you pack a lunch or a snack, please plan to eat it at the tables by the front ponds or at Kenefick Park. We do not allow picnicking or outside food in the garden (with the exception of Tempo of Twilight concerts).
